
About Suzanne Lacke
Suzanne Lacke’s artistic journey began during her college years at the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied art history and studio art. She continued at the Art Students League in New York City in the 1970s studying with renowned artists Marshall Glasier, Sydney Simon and Gabriel Laderman. In 1979, she relocated to Berkeley, California, where she earned an MFA from the University of California in 1988, working primarily with Bay Area Figurative artist Joan Brown. Her diverse education and mentorship have deeply influenced her creative process and the development of her distinctive artistic voice.
